Cheshire Peaks WI meeting - History wardrobe Mary Quant (15th October 2025)

The Autumn meeting of the Cheshire Peaks Group (15/10/25) was attended by over 20 of our members, who enjoyed an informative & insight into the history of style icon Mary Quant. Lucy from The History Wardrobe was very entertaining, demonstrating the clothing styles & accessories made famous by Mary Quant starting from the 1950s upto the present day. There was also a fabulous craft stall & the competition for this meeting was ‘anything Geometric/psychedelic design in any media’. Janet Slater entered (3 mini dresses) but unfortunately didn’t win - the handbag won this time. Few photos from the night. A great social meeting of various local WI’s getting together
