Junior Hospital Doctor - Peter Sykes (8th June 2026)

A change to our scheduled speaker at this months meeting (Monday 8/6/26) as Peter Sykes was able to come along at short notice & tell us all about his time of being a Junior Hospital Doctor back in the 60’s. A lot of reminiscing as things were better back then in Peter’s view. A lively talk from him as he’s such a great character, all our members seemed to enjoy the meeting.

Thanks to Clare Duffield who provided our lovely raffle but couldn’t make the meeting so Sheila stepped in to sell the tickets. A big Thanks to Isa Warhurst & Ro Leonard who were our Refreshment ladies (just don’t mention green tea to Ro) .

Thanks to all the committee for all their hard work, it’s really appreciated.
