Lower Moss Wood Animal Rescue - Ian Daniels (13th April 2026)

A very interesting & informative evening for our April meeting (13/4/26). Ian Daniels from Lower Moss Wood Nature Reserve & Wildlife Hospital came along to inform us all about his background & how he became so involved with Lower Moss Wood. With his wife Elaine & his colleague Mia, Ian brought along a number of Owls which have been rescued over the years, it was fantastic to see them up close to appreciate their features, colourings & personalities.

Fabulous raffle prizes as usual organised by Clare & very big thanks to our refreshment ladies on the night - Sue Kendrew & Oli Booth. Also thanks to Sheila, she was selling the NFWI raffle tickets on the night. Thanks too to our members who came along early to help set up, really does help with the smooth running of our meetings.
